France has denied allegations of interfering in Romania’s presidential elections after Telegram founder Pavel Durov claimed a “Western European government” asked him to block Romanian conservatives ahead of the vote. Durov hinted at France with a baguette emoji and accused French intel chief Nicolas Lerner of personally approaching him. France called the accusations “unfounded” and blamed Moscow for interference in the earlier annulled round. Zelensky will resign and leave Ukraine, former Prime Minister Nikolay Azarov has predicted, citing what he described as a US-backed effort to remove the country’s leader. In a post on Telegram on Sunday, Azarov suggested that the decision to remove Zelensky from power “has already been made in the US” and that Washington has given the “go-ahead” for his ouster.
